Well what will the new year bring. Well for a start we will be starting home education. I have been thinking about it for a long time and it seems that now is the year for action. I am hoping this blog will help share our joys and maybe even inspire others to take the plunge.
We were hoping to start the new year with approval to build a house but that has not happened. It is obviously not our time yet and we hope we will be able to keep renting where we are for another year despite the fact the house is on the market. Again we believe we will get what we need and if that means moving so be it.
Since we will be here a little longer I am going to keep adding productive fare to the garden. We currently have corn, pumpkin, cucumber, water melon, strawberries and a banana tree in. Will keep you updated as we plant.
I am always envious of my friend Belinda's Queensland jungle. She has a goal of 100 productive trees within the first year, she is half way there with 4 months till deadline. I hope she makes it. You can read her inspiring homeschool/garden blog here
So here's to a wonderful, fun filled, inspiring 2008. Hope to share the journey with as many friends and family as possible.
New Years Eve
We had a wonderful New year's eve down at the beach just the family. We are so blessed to live within a stone's throw a beautiful and safe beach. So this is what the kids looked like on the last day of 2007.
